Judaism is one of the most notable religions which has attached importance to the issue of the savior , because this religion has tasted the expectation for a savior .so its followers are seeking for the end-time savior more than any other religion.

Due to the distortions in this region and its holy scripture, no cogent evidence can be found in which an explicit mention has been made about the savior. Such allusions can be found in the sayings of the other prophets of Judaism or in Prophet David’s Gospel . In the Torah just once a mention has been made of the name of the end- time prophet and his successors which is a good proof for the coming of an end-time savior :

“As for Ishmael I have heard you; I will bless him and make him fruitful and exceedingly numerous; and Muhammad born from his generation and he shall be the father of twelve princes.’ (Genesis/chapter17/ verse 20)

Savior in Judaism

As for the saviors of humanity, some mentions have been made which are discussed below.

In the book of prophet Isaiah (chapter 9, verses 6-7 ),  regarding the arrival of Messiah , it says:

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. “

In Prophet David’s Gospel, Psalm 37 , it says:

“9. for evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land. 10. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; and you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.

  1. But the humble will inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.…

12.The wicked plots against the righteous And gnashes at him with his teeth.

13.The Lord laughs at him, For He sees his day is coming.…

14.The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow To cast down the afflicted and the needy, To slay those who are upright in conduct. 16.Better is the little of the righteous Than the abundance of many wicked.

17.For the arms of the wicked will be broken, But the LORD sustains the righteous.

18.The LORD knows the days of the blameless, And their inheritance will be forever. 19.They will not be ashamed in the time of evil, And in the days of famine they will have abundance. 20.But the wicked will perish; And the enemies of the LORD will be like the glory of the pastures, They vanish– like smoke they vanish away.

22.For those blessed by Him will inherit the land, But those cursed by Him will be cut off. 23The steps of a man are established by the LORD, And He delights in his way.

29.The righteous will inherit the land And dwell in it forever.

34.Wait for the LORD and keep His way, And He will exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

38.But transgressors will be altogether destroyed; The posterity of the wicked will be cut off. 39But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble.”

In another verse it’s been said:

“Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity.” 11Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; Let the sea roar, and all it contains. 12Let the field exult, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy 13Before the LORD, for He is coming, For He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness And the peoples in His faithfulness. (Psalm 37, verse 10-13)

In Psalm 72 , it says:

(1)  “Give the “kingYour judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the “king’s son”. (2) “May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.” (3) Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness”. (4) “May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.” (5) “Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations”. (6) “May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.” (7)”In his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.” (8) May he also rule from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.” (9) “Let the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust”. (10) “Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.” ( 11) “And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.” ( 12) “For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.” ( 13) He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.” ( 14) “He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight”. ( 15) “So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless him all day long.” ( 16) “May there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.” (17) “May his name endure forever; May his name increase as long as the sun shines; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed. “(18) “Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.” (19) “And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. 20The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

In the above verses, the term “king” refers to the end-time prophet and the “king’s son” refers to the end – time savior. There are many proofs for this statement like verse21 in chapter17 of the book “Genesis” which was mentioned above and here we will cite two other quotations on the connection between the king and the end-time prophet, i.e., prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).

In The Book of Deuteronomy (chapter18, verse 18), it says:

I will raiseup a prophetfrom amongtheir countrymenlikeyou, and I will putMy wordsin his mouth,and he shall speakto them allthat I commandhim.

Also in the Book of Deuteronomy( chapter 33, verses 2-3), prophet Moses (p.b.u.h) says:

 “The LORD” came from Sinai ( mountain where prophet Moses received revelation )  , and dawned on them from Seir ( Sair or Seir is the mountain where Jesus Christ  received revelation) ; He shone forth from Mount Paran ( Paran is a mountain near Mecca where Ishmael stationed according to The Book of Genesis,  chapter 21 ,verse 21  and   where the last divine prophet, prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) rose from), And He came from the midst of ten thousand holy ones; At His right hand, there was flashing lightning for them.

Indeed, He loves the people; All Your holy ones are in Your hand, And they followed in Your steps; Everyone receives of Your words.”

There are indeed many other signifiers for the savior in this Holy Scripture that have been distorted or deleted from the divine books by the powerful Jewish scholars, so the truth might be concealed. What is clear according to the above documents is that Torah has promised the coming of a savior and it cannot be denied. The only difference between Judaism and Islam is their illogical persistence on the statement that  ” your prophet isn’t the  same savior whom we’re waiting for and that and your claim is false.”

But according to the evidences from the Jewish holy scriptures, it’s really obvious and clear that the last prophet’ offspring is the end-time savior and that Jesus Christ who was an oppressed one among both his people and the Jews will be the helper of the end-time savior just like prophet Solomon who was assisted by Asef ibn Barkhiya.
